The latest in my Lady Luck series – The Illustrated Lady, almost finished, just waiting for the gold left to dry so the excess can be swept away. She is a girl with a Dragon Tattoo! as well as some old school ink work of swallows and roses, hand printed in grey and turquoise on heavyweight cream watercolour paper, one of 15 all hand finished with gold leaf.

I finally got my mitts on a copy of the excellent Tote Bag Book, a resource of the weird, wonderful, quirky and beautiful artworks that have graced the humble tote bag, written by Jitesh Patel and published by Laurence King. I had my Wits and Dandies series included in the lineup of designer illustrated tote bags alongside the likes of Airside, Catalina Estrada, Jeremyville and eBoy (among many other talented artists) The best bit? unwrap the spine and you get a free tote bag designed by Gemma Correll-Yeses!

The infamous Zsa Zsa joins the line-up of characters in my Wits and Dandies series, joining Mr Oscar Wilde, Jerome K Jerome and Serge Gainsbourg, all hand illustrated and screen printed on heavyweight white in ink of blackest black -available in my shop soon! and hmm perhaps quite apt as an alternative Valentines!
