Laser Cut Illustrated Keys

Here is a close up of the first of my laser cut illustrated keys, hand drawn and based on the front door key of the old house I grew up in as a child and stories such as The Secret Garden, a mysterious key to unlock exciting secrets! These keys were cut in a variety of shades of wood, working with the natural wood grain.

This has been an exciting project to work on as it is making a 3d version of one of my illustrations, turning it into a beautiful tangible object! The artwork was cut into cherry wood and varnished and measures 9cm in diameter. The perfect gift to give when more than words are required! -Happy Valentines everyone! <3
Illustrated Day of the Dead Skulls!

I have been working on a set of skulls to celebrate the wonderfully visually rich holiday of Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) creating a set of sugar skull broaches.
